WMHN gets new logo…

September 14th, 2007

WMHN

method have recently updated Worcester Mental Health Network’s logo, giving it a new identity. The new logo represents a mixture of different aspects relating to what the organisation is involved with. method had to create a design that was not only fresh and modern, but also had a caring more humble side to it. Logo’s and corporate identities are mainly all about creating impact and getting noticed, but this project needed to be treated with a much more sympathetic eye.

method feel that the design can be used in a number of different ways and will also work across the wide range of materials and stationery that WMHN use in their advertising campaigns.

Job Board Link launched

May 15th, 2007

Job Board Link launched

www.jobboardlink.com is launched to enhance the functionality of the job board family

The Job Board Link is a family of bespoke recruitment tools designed by recruitment professionals for the growing on-line jobs market. The site was launched in response to the growing trend for candidates to search for jobs on the internet and their wish to use exclusive job specific job boards. Generalist job boards such as Monster and Yahoo Jobs have a very low success rate in placing certain candidates, so we are developing a series of job boards aimed at very specific professions. Our first launch was www.purchasingjobboard.com which is aimed exclusively at the purchasing and procurement professions. The Purchasing Job Board had over 10,000 hits in the first 6 weeks of trading and now has several hundred live candidates and more than 50 live jobs at any one time.

Registration is quick and easy and the site has been created in a way that new jobs can be uploaded in a matter of minutes. The full spectrum of levels, industries and salaries are covered by the Purchasing Job Board as well as permanent, interim and contract positions. Details of available jobs are sent nightly to matching candidates who can then apply and send their CVs directly to agencies and firms in complete confidence and ensuring the applicants are active job seekers and interested in your positions.

We have already received several plaudits from agencies and candidates alike. “I received three top class candidates for a job I placed on www.purchasingjobboard.com in just a week. Previously I would have advertised this job in the national press which would have cost me both time and money. Thank you”

“I found the perfect city job through www.purchasingjobboard.com. The whole process took just over a week and including three interviews. I am really delighted. Thank you” We are planning to role out a series of jobboards during the next few months and the details are shown below.

The aim of the site to enable you to navigate, search, apply or register or upload your purchasing jobs simply and quickly.

Purchasing Job Board.com goes live…

March 14th, 2007

Purchasing Job Board

Purchasing Job Board.com is a specialist recruitment site focusing exclusively on jobs in the purchasing and procurement marketplace.

The site allows purchasing professionals to confidentially register their interests about suitable vacancies and for agencies and firms to register their vacancies. Every night a match is completed and candidates are emailed with details of the vacancies they might be interested in. The candidate can then approach the agency or firm and apply for the job. The candidate takes the lead on the application so their confidentiality is always protected.

They created the job board in response to findings that generalist job boards fail to secure the right candidates for jobs posted online (Generalist job boards such as Yahoo! Hot Jobs and Monster together filled only 28.4% of actual jobs posted) and so they launched a specialist job board site focusing exclusively on jobs in the purchasing and procurement marketplace.
