Is it time to comply with W3C?

Monday, March 15th, 2010

You may be wondering why do I need to conform to these standards? Well… Here are some benefits:

Reduced markup: Less code means faster loading pages, which in turn means less bandwidth = less money.

Increased separation of content and presentation: By using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to control a site’s design, updates and site wide changes become quicker and easier through the update of a single style sheet.

Improved accessibility: Web standards enable us to reach the highest possible number of browsers and devices.

Forward compatibility: By authoring pages using web standards you are ensuring that they will be readable in future browsers.

So if you think it’s about time to update your site to these standards, or would like some more information on how to implement the standards to your site then please contact us here.
